Active Lifelong Learning Group

The Group meets with a simple objective of allowing people who perhaps do not get many opportunities to get out and about. Our meetings allows some socialising with our main focus on learning a new language (French). In addition we do have occasional guests who give presentations or speak on a variety of subjects.

Would you like to meet others in a friendly atmosphere with a cup of tea? Are you an older person who can only get out of the house during daylight hours?

Why not come along, have a chat and have fun learning a foreign language something which has been proven scientifically to delay the onset of dementia by up to five years! Our tutor manages to keep our weekly sessions interesting and enjoyable. A variety of other speakers and activities take place occasionally.
